Position Title: Cabinetmaker – Commercial Millwork

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Cabinetmaker with a background in commercial millwork to join a dynamic team serving clients across the GTA. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and skilled in interpreting shop drawings to fabricate high-end custom cabinetry and millwork for commercial spaces such as offices, retail stores, healthcare, and institutional buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
Construct, assemble, and install custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
Operate woodworking machines such as table saws, planers, jointers, edge banders, and CNC machines.
Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and finish wood and wood substitutes.
Measure and mark materials to prescribed dimensions.
Ensure high standards of craftsmanship and quality control.
Collaborate with other team members including installers, project managers, and designers.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety regulations.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in cabinetmaking and commercial millwork.
Proficient in reading and understanding detailed shop drawings.
Experience working with various materials including wood, laminates, veneers, and hardware.
Familiarity with cabinetmaking machinery and tools.
Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
