CNC Laser Setup Operator
We are seeking reliable and safety-conscious Solar Panel Installers to join a growing renewable energy team in the GTA. The successful candidate will assist in the installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and commercial rooftops, ground mounts, and other structures. Training may be provided for motivated individuals with relevant construction or electrical experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble and install solar panels on roofs or ground-mounted systems according to design plans and safety standards.
- Measure, cut, and fit mounting systems and electrical components.
- Assist electricians with wiring, conduit runs, and inverter connections.
- Ensure system integrity through testing, alignment, and secure attachment of panels.
- Follow all safety protocols, including fall protection and electrical safety.
- Maintain clean work areas and handle tools and equipment properly.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding site conditions and project progress.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in solar installation, general construction, or roofing preferred.
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders, rooftops, and scaffolding.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in varying weather conditions.
- Familiarity with hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and basic problem-solving skills.
- Valid G driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
